Roman Holiday? No, go to Stresa!
Villa Stresa – is a traditional early 20th-century residence located on the shores of Lake Maggiore in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Piedmont region of northern Italy.
Built on the rock, the house stands in a setting of incomparable peace and beauty: a sunny garden immersed in the scent emanating from rhododendrons of the luxuriant cypress and camellias in bloom.
The characteristic architecture, interspersed with terraces, stone stairs, and gardens, makes the structure unique in its kind.
From every corner of the villa, climbing the external stairs, the view is lost on the coast of lake Maggiore and the Alps, which makes a fine show of itself on clear and sunny days.
